Between 2016 and 2020, she underwent an intensive 4-year rebuild project in Genoa, where she received a new extension and up-to-date interior features. She features naval architecture by Studio Nattero and interior design by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1867" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pier Vittorio Cerruti (Company)">Pier Vittorio Cerruti</a>. As part of her rebuild project, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1867" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pier Vittorio Cerruti (Company)">Pier Vittorio Cerruti</a> was invited back to oversee the interior update, which maintained the yacht's timeless design with an added charter appeal.Onboard, she can accommodate up to 28 guests across 13 staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the upper deck forward. Other key features include a main-deck cinema room, a sauna, a massage room, a gym on the bridge deck and a touch-and-go helipad. Four years later, she has reemerged with a fresh exterior and major cosmetic changes. It was decided that the yacht’s accommodation capabilities would be extended from nine cabins to 13, more than doubling the number of guests that can stay on board to a total of 28. In addition, a new garage would house two of the yacht’s tenders which were only stowed on the open foredeck before.&nbsp;<iframe width="758" height="427" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/f6BOGwPSOb8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe>In 2016, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1126" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bleu de Nimes72.1m (236'7&quot;)Clelands Shipbuilding Co Ltd1980">Bleu de Nimes</a> was hauled out in Genoa where she remained for the next four years. She was never used for this purpose and instead was sold to a private owner some years later. Between 2003 and 2008 the yacht underwent a major refit and was transformed into a luxury charter yacht. Some of her original characteristics still remain however, such as her 12,000 nm range, making this the perfect vessel for transoceanic cruises. A flush foredeck has been installed which is used as a touch and go heli pad. Here she is seen anchored off the rugged island of Sardinia last month.By Charl van Rooy
