Initially launched as the 85-metre Annaliesse in 2004 by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/250" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Neorion (Company)">Neorion</a>, she underwent a substantial renovation project at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/86" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Amico & Co. s.r.l. (Company)">Amico &amp; Co</a> shipyard in Genoa, concluding in 2016 when she was renamed <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/272" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Queen Miri91.5m (300'2&quot;)Neorion2004">Queen Miri</a>. The yacht underwent a comprehensive renovation, resulting in a thoroughly transformed appearance, featuring a bold new blue hull and an elongated aft structure exceeding 6 metres. The transformation, envisioned by the Dutch studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4789" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bernd Weel Design (Company)">Bernd Weel Design</a>, has rendered <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/272" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Queen Miri91.5m (300'2&quot;)Neorion2004">Queen Miri</a> unrecognisable to those familiar with her previous incarnation. Furthermore, the Italian design house <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1156" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Massari Design S.r.l. (Company)">Studio Massari</a> redesigned <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/272" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Queen Miri91.5m (300'2&quot;)Neorion2004">Queen Miri</a>, introducing new features for enhanced comfort and amenities. Changes include a large whirlpool with a sun pad, spa areas and a convertible tender garage that becomes a heated seawater pool. Powered by twin <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1409" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MTU (Company)">MTU</a> diesel engines, she boasts a cruising speed of 14 knots, a maximum speed reaching 17 knots and an impressive range of 7,000 nautical miles, thanks to her substantial 234,455-litre fuel tanks.

She was part of the fleet of well-known yacht owner Andreas Liveras. He had built her together with her sistership Annaliese for the charter market. In 2010 the yacht was sold to her Middle Eastern owner, but she remained active on the charter market. In 2015 she was completely refitted and lengthened from 85.3-metres to her current length of 91.4-metres. Superyacht Queen Miri in Keppel Bay

Recently extended during a major refit lasting over 18 months, the 91.5 metre Queen Miri we see on the water today is vastly different than the 85-metre superyacht Delma as which she entered the refit shed in Genoa, Italy last year. Built in 2004 by Greek shipbuilder Neorion, life for the yacht started out as the Annalise, and was renamed, Delma, in 2007 after being sold to a new owner. Today, Queen Miri is finished with a range of new features including a new exterior profile, re-styled by the hand of Dutch studio, Bernd Weel Design. A new 16-metre hull section was replaced and now accommodates a floodable garage at her stern area as well as two new MTU M93L engines. Her interior is said to have undergone drastic changes as well, and was redesigned by the Italian Design company, Studio Massari. After a busy summer's cruising season, Queen Miri has headed east and is seen here in the Keppel Bay Marina, Singapore.

Superyacht Moonlight II in Nice, France

Measuring 85 metres at the time of her launch in 2005, superyacht Moonlight II recently underwent a major extension procedure that increased her total length to 91.4 metres. She was built as superyacht Alysia at the Neorion shipyard in Greece as a set of of two sisterships, the other one being Delma (now Queen Miri), with charter in mind. Built to SOLAS passenger vessel specifications, she has a range of over 7,000 nautical miles. The Greek built yacht was sold to her current owners in 2010. Superyacht Moonlight II in Nice

Following last week’s <a href="http://www.superyachttimes.com/yacht-news/amico-co-completes-extension-on-former-superyacht-delma/" target="_blank">report </a>of the extension completed on the former 85 metre superyacht Delma in Italy, comes news of her sister ship, Moonlight II also having undergone a lengthening procedure. The once 85 metre Moonlight II now measures 91.4 metres, with a redeveloped stern that will make telling these two yachts apart, a touch easier. The project took place in Piraeus, Greece.

	Moonlight II was built as superyacht Alysia in 2005, by Neorion in Elefsis, Greece. Built to SOLAS passenger vessel specification with charter use in mind, she has a range of over 7,000 nautical miles.

	Her sister ship, the former superyacht Delma, has also recently completed an extension at the Amico &amp; Co shipyard in Italy, where she is being outfitted. The two projects do not seem to be related however, despite sharing the same original construction shipyard.
