SYT takes a closer look at the top 10 largest sailing yachts currently on the market.

The 55-metre motor sailor yacht Meira was launched in Bodrum on Friday 30th March. Built by the Turkish shipyard Neta Marine, construction was originally started more than a decade ago by Sultan Marine. She was purchased by her current owners a few years ago, who plan to place Meira on the charter market with Salmakis Yachting upon completion.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/31281/image/large-00413c46c41b1224911897b1677f4292.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/31281"> Meira features both original exterior and interior design by Evan K Marshall, with naval architecture undertaken by Fuat Turan. 55m motor sailor Meira launched in Turkey

Salmakis Yachting in Turkey is currently overseeing the construction of a 50m motor sailer at the Neta Marine shipyard based in Bodrum. The project was initially started by the shipyard for an owner but has since been acquired by their partner company Salmakis Yachting who will oversee the remainder of the build.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156663/image/large-edef4b7cde5cba4ac3fe5896d24b31fe.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156663">The yacht is expected to be launched in the summer of 2017, and is being constructed according to RINA’s classification standards. Built with a steel hull and superstructure, the yacht’s overall length will eventually be 54m, which includes the 4m bowsprit. She will accommodate 12 guests across 6 guest cabins.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156664/image/large-258d91f342b60dad69e62fef3a38bd32.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156664">The schooner has been designed by the renowned Evan K. Marshall. Her timeless exterior blends the grace of a classic sailing yacht with the luxury and space found on a motor yacht. Construction continues on 50m motor sailer Great Nautilus

Neta Marine in Turkey have recently launched superyacht Dolce Mare. Charter yacht Dolce Mare under construction at Neta Marine

Currently under construction in Turkey at Neta Marine, is a 41m motor yacht, with interior design and exterior styling by Guido de Groot.
